There is a king size bed in one area, two single beds in another and an enchanting elevated king size cabin bed which forms the wall between the living area and twin room.


There is a private bathroom at the back of each lodge with a fantastic shower, toilet, basin and heated towel rail. Two beautiful handcrafted shepherd's huts with kitchens and shower rooms sleep 4 with views over Loch Fitty near Dunfermline. Craigduckie Shepherds Huts are a family run sheep farm near Dunfermline has 2 beautiful modern handcrafted shepherd's huts that sleep up to 4 people each.


Aptly named Ewe View and Lamb Lookout, the huts enjoy south facing positions overlooking the beautiful Loch Fitty. Benefitting from all mod cons including a shaker kitchen with fridge, hob and oven plus a full shower room these huts offer true comfort. Brilliant folding down beds, including a double which covers the dining table and bunks that fold down from the wall mean that the huts offer space when needed during the day. A woodburning stove keeps the huts toasty warm but they also have electric heating as well as being fully insulated and double glazed! Add to this that there are electric sockets plus a TV and DVD player and you won't want to leave!


However outside the hut you can find a firepit and seating, perfect for a spot of stargazing or toasting yummy marshmallows! Kiddies will love collecting fresh eggs from the hens in the morning before playing in the mud kitchen in the afternoon. With lots of space to run around, nature to explore and animals to watch this truly is a great place to kick back and reconnect with your loved ones and with nature whilst enjoying a digital detox!


Locally there is plenty to do including activities at Craigluscar Actitivy centre, pottery painting at The Ceramic Cafe and a visit to Deep Sea World at South Queensferry. A little further afield is beautiful Edinburgh where you can visit the famous castle as well as shop till you drop, the choice is yours!

The Woodman’s Hut sits high above an ancient oak woodland with views over the River Whiteadder. Crafted from oak, reclaimed materials and insulated with sheep’s wool, it's a real work of love and a perfectly secluded nook for two. You can boil the kettle or heat up your morning crumpets on the woodburner. Throw open the windows for a breath of the fresh Scottish air and listen to the birdsong of green and greater spotted woodpeckers, nut hatches, and finches. In the Spring, the fields and surrounding hills of the estate are filled with thousands of lambs.


You'll need walking boots to properly explore the wild surroundings and there are maps in the huts to help get you around, or you can just head straight down through the wood to meet the river. As the sun sets, cook a rustic supper on the firebowl, under dark star-filled skies. You can plan your day trips as you sample a "nip" of the complimentary whisky. From the deserted beaches and hidden coves of the Heritage Coastline, to grouse spotting in the hills, or visiting beautiful castles - there's plenty to see and do.
